Colour Palette Options

Three colour directions applied to the same SmartPod layout — logo, typeface, website, swatches and real-world items — so you can compare them side by side and choose the one that feels most like SmartPod. Nothing is locked in. Once you pick a favourite, we build it into the brand.

How to read this document

You'll see each colour option shown in two ways — Light mode and Dark mode. Modern websites automatically switch between these depending on the visitor's device settings, so both need to look good. Here's the difference:

Light mode

Dark text on a bright background

The standard, familiar look — dark writing on white or pale backgrounds. Easy to read in daylight and the way most people first see a website. This is also how the site prints on paper.

Dark mode

Light text on a dark background

The evening / low-light look — light writing on dark backgrounds. Many phones and laptops switch to this automatically at night; it's easier on the eyes and can save battery.

Why it matters: your website will support both automatically, so the same colour option needs to work in both. That's why every option below appears twice — once light, once dark. Judge each option as a pair.

Brand applications

The same colours on everyday items, so you can picture the brand in the real world — a staff t-shirt, a business card (front & back), and a customer invoice.

How to choose

Picking your favourite

There's no wrong answer — it's about which personality fits SmartPod best. A few things to look at as you compare:

  1. Go with your gut on feel. Which one feels most like SmartPod — energetic & eco (1), warm & premium (2), or calm & coastal (3)?
  2. Watch the accent colour. That bright colour on the buttons is what customers tap to get a quote — make sure you like it.
  3. Check both light & dark. Make sure your favourite still looks great in the dark-mode row, not just the light one.
  4. Picture it out in the world. Glance at the t-shirt, card and invoice — does it look good on your team and paperwork?
  5. Ignore the codes. The #0D1B2A-style codes are just references for the designer — you don't need to read them.
  6. Tell us the number. Just reply with Option 1, 2 or 3 (and any tweaks) — we'll handle the rest.
